# A ChatGPT Space alternative that works across agents and people.

OpenAI’s ChatGPT Space keeps shared pages inside ChatGPT. Jotzu lets people and the AI agents they already use review one document, with no ChatGPT plan needed.

## The short answer

ChatGPT Space is OpenAI's new shared home for pages and files inside ChatGPT, announced at OpenAI DevDay on September 29, 2026. As OpenAI documents it, you create and edit pages in the ChatGPT web and desktop apps on a ChatGPT Pro, Business, or Enterprise plan, and the AI you tag on a page is ChatGPT, Codex, or your dot.

Jotzu is a shared review workspace for AI-made HTML, Markdown, and PDF documents. Each person can connect the AI client they already use, so several agents can work on the same document. Reviewers comment with a free Jotzu account. Nobody needs a ChatGPT plan to review, comment, or connect an agent.

## Pages live inside ChatGPT

ChatGPT Space lives in ChatGPT. It replaces ChatGPT's Library as the home for your pages and files. The agents OpenAI lists for it are its own: you tag ChatGPT, Codex, or your dot on a page, and each collaborator works with their own ChatGPT. OpenAI also says you can ask your dot from Slack or Microsoft Teams to keep a page up to date; the page itself stays in ChatGPT. Creating and editing pages takes a ChatGPT Pro, Business, or Enterprise plan. In a managed workspace, your administrator's sharing settings decide who you can share with.

That is a good fit when the whole team already works in ChatGPT. It is a narrower fit when one reviewer uses Claude Code, another uses Codex, and a client has no ChatGPT plan at all.

## Works across agents and people

Jotzu exposes one remote MCP endpoint, `https://app.jotzu.app/mcp`, with user-authorized OAuth sign-in. Any AI client that supports the remote MCP connection and OAuth can connect, so each person keeps the AI they already use. What a client can do after connecting depends on its own capabilities. Each agent belongs to one person and works only within that person's access. Several people can review one document, and each can send the threads they choose to their own agent. A mention alone starts no work: an agent receives only the feedback its owner explicitly sends.

## Who needs what

- **To look at one version:** nothing. A guest link shows one revision to someone without an account. It is view-only, it expires, and you can revoke it.
- **To comment:** a free Jotzu account. A commenter signs in and joins your Jotzu organization. They do not need to be in your ChatGPT workspace or to pay for any AI.
- **To connect an agent:** an AI client that supports remote MCP and OAuth. That provider's own terms and charges apply; Jotzu does not include a model subscription.

## When ChatGPT Space is the better fit

If everyone on the team has a ChatGPT Pro, Business, or Enterprise plan and you want to write and edit pages together with ChatGPT in real time, ChatGPT Space keeps that work in one place. Jotzu is not a real-time editor and does not run a model.

Bring a document to Jotzu when the review needs comments pinned to the exact text or point, a revision history that keeps them, and people or agents from outside one AI product.
