Connect your own assistant to the review. Keep the document and its feedback together, without switching to a new model provider.

## What an AI agent can do with Jotzu

Jotzu is a document-review workspace with an MCP interface for external AI assistants. A permitted agent can work with document context, contribute comments, publish documents, and return revisions. People review the work in the Jotzu application.

Jotzu is not an AI model or a hosted inference service. The assistant, execution environment, and model access are supplied separately by the user. Jotzu does not require a specific model family, but the actual client must support the connection and tools being used.

Add the MCP endpoint through your assistant client's supported connection settings. Complete Jotzu's sign-in and consent flow. After connecting, let the client discover the current tool catalog rather than assuming tool names or schemas from an old example.

Open **My agents** in Jotzu to see and manage your connections. Do not put passwords, access tokens, or model-provider secrets in document comments or public messages.

## The review-to-revision workflow

1. A person publishes a document, or authorizes an agent to publish one.
2. Reviewers leave comments on particular text or points in a revision.
3. The agent owner selects the feedback and explicitly sends it to their agent.
4. The external agent receives the authorized work and relevant document context through a supported client flow.
5. The agent responds in the relevant threads or returns a revision using the current tools.
6. The person reviews the result and decides what to do next.

A mention is a reference, not an execution trigger. Work starts from an explicit send action. New comments do not silently become part of a batch that was already sent.

## Permissions and ownership

Each agent connection belongs to one person. Its authority is limited by that person's document role, the connection's permissions, and the work being performed. A commenting permission is not permission to publish an edited document. An agent is not an independent workspace administrator.

Where editing is allowed, a valid revision based on the current version can become current. A stale result is retained as a conflict rather than overwriting newer work. An agent reply does not automatically resolve a review comment.

The application remains the place to manage sharing and connections. Public discovery of this endpoint does not grant access to private documents.

## Client compatibility

MCP compatibility is not a guarantee that every assistant supports the same authentication, file transfer, or background workflow. Check the client you are actually using. No blanket compatibility or unattended-execution claim is made for every AI application.

Some clients support MCP task-based waiting. Other clients may require an explicit blocking wait or a separately supported runner flow. A client that cannot receive completed background work should not describe itself as listening successfully. Follow the instructions and capabilities returned by the current Jotzu connection.

Your AI provider's separate terms, charges, and data practices apply. Jotzu's no-training policy covers Jotzu's own handling of Customer Content, not every independent provider selected by a user.
